Fiona is a Certified Bookkeeper of the Institute of the Certified Bookkeepers and part-qualified accountant. She has worked with large and small business, running finance departments and now focuses on giving SMEs the financial management they need.
Susan is a Certified Bookkeeper of the ICB and opened the second Local Bookkeeper office in October 2007. The impact Sue has made in the Barry area is considerable with a range of clients now dependant on her skills to drive their businesses forward.
Paul is part AAT and fully ICB qualified, with extensive experience gained as a Practice Manager. Since opening the Local Bookkeeper office in Southend-On-Sea, Paul has responded to the overwhelming demand by local businesses by employing his first staff member within a few months.
Bryan holds ICB certification and together with his wife, Barbara, ran a very successful business for 18 years in Cumbria. The team at Carlisle are equipped with first hand local knowledge of the challenges facing SMEs and have extensive experience in agriculture and tourism too.
The Local Bookkeeper Horsham – Owner: Kelly Derham AICB
Since the opening of the first regional office of Local Bookkeeper in July 2007, Kelly has grown the turnover on the back of exceptional customer service, experienced that was gained managing a large accounts department. Kelly holds ICB certification.
Cathy is a qualified Management Accountant and holds ICB certification and also has an HND in Business and Finance. Before opening the Wrexham office, Cathy’s many years of experience in various roles has given her the experience to provide invaluable advice to her clients.
Louise is both a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Her previous experience as a business consultant has equipped her to give the highest quality of financial management advice to her growing client base.
Tania opened the second London office of The Local Bookkeeper in August 2008. Located in Covent Garden, Tania is perfectly positioned to service the needs of her customers. Tania is ACCA part qualified and brings a wealth of commercial experience to benefit the businesses of Bloomsbury.
Sharon holds ICB certification and prior to opening the third Welsh office of the Local Bookkeeper had been a self-employed bookkeeper. Living in the area all her life, Sharon is a valued member of the local community to whom she now offers unrivalled financial management advice.
Our latest office was opened by Karen in November 2008. Fully aware of Karen’s skill and experience with SME clients, The Local Bookkeeper was delighted when Karen agreed to strengthen our service on the South Coast.
The Local Bookkeeper Edgware – Owner: Tsega Yehedego FCCA
Tsega holds FCCA status and with her history of working in financial management of some impressive companies has all the skills to assist the small business owner in making the better informed business decisions to increase their prosperity.
Penny has the perfect combination of skills to be the financial cornerstone for businesses in the Chepstow area. Before opening the office, Penelope was a financial controller for a large company and is part CIMA qualified and has AAT qualifications. Business owners in the area will benefit from her knowledge and experience to achieve the financial management of their situation that they require to thrive.
Amanda brings some impressive experience to the area which she has gathered from working as an Accountant at Grant Thornton (a UK top 5 Accountancy firm) to working as a financial analyst at a well known high street retail brand where she qualified. With also having membership to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Amanda is well equipped to give valuable advice to business owners that will allow them to better manage their business’s finance and have the ability to see their business grow as a result.
Clare has studied AAT and an affiliate of the ICB with extensive experience working as an Accountant in a series of high level and high responsibility roles. Claire’s impressive financial skills and strong communication skills will help business owners better understand their finances and give them the advice to help them improve their financial situation.
The Local Bookkeeper Guildford – Owner: Roger Sherriff
Roger is studying the ACCA qualification and excelled in the position of the UK Finance Manager of an international business before opening The Local Bookkeeper Guildford. Roger has a wealth of experience in the field of financial management which will prove to be invaluable to business owners in the area who require their finance function to be in the hands of an experienced professional who can use their expertise to help them better manage their finances and increase their profitability.
The Local Bookkeeper Birmingham- Owner: Humaira Shahid AICB
Humaira is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, the industry standard setting body and previously to becoming opening an office of The Local Bookkeeper she had her own business. She also has an abundance of experience and expertise in dealing with FSA regulated companies. Therefore, Humaira understands better than anybody the problems that business owners face and has the knowledge and experience to coach them through their financial situation to produce successful and profitable businesses.
The Local Bookkeeper Leatherhead - Owner: Karen Badger
The Local Bookkeeper Brighton North– Owner: Anna Mannion
Anna is studying ACCA and ICB and is well experienced working in the bookkeeping industry both in the UK and in Ireland. Anna was chosen to open the Brighton North office because her extensive experience and fantastic communication skills that will allow her to effectively educate and advise business owners in dealing with their financial situations.
Steve Woods is CIMA qualified and worked as a financial controller before launching the Northampton office. TLBK have the utmost confidence in his technical ability that ensure he revolutionized the role of a bookkeeper in businesses in Northampton.
Heidi is AAT qualified and has worked in a variety of bookkeeping roles coupled with experience in running her own successful businesses. Heidi’s previous experience in both running her own business and in finance gives her the tools to be invaluable to business owners in Bermondsey.
Sharyn is ICB qualified and has over 17 years experience in both commercial and practice environments for small and medium sized enterprises. Sharyn is going to be able to supply business owners with the advice and skills they need to improve their business’s profitability with better informed business decisions with her regular and accurate financial information.
Margaret Crawford is ICB qualified and has ran her own business before as well as working as a bookkeeper before launching the Reigate office. Margaret’s mix of expertise and her own experience means she understands the issues and need of the small business owner clearly and fulfils her role as a financial cornerstone impeccably.
Helen is an associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has Bachelors Honors degree in Accountancy. Helen had most recently been working as a Fixed Asset Accountant in a high responsibility role with a background of management accountancy behind her. She believes highly in keeping good communication between the financial management professional and the business owner and will use this belief to work effectively with many businesses in Haywards Heath fulfill their profit potential.
Michael is an AAT member and is part qualified in the prestigious CIMA qualification. Michael has had over thirty years of experience in financial management and in his previous role to opening a TLBK office he was a Regional Accountant for a leading national waste company. Michael is a firm believer in putting the customer first and is a great asset to any business with his vast experience and customer service values.
Greg is an associate of the Institute of Chartered and Certified Accountants, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Business Managers as well as having an Honours degree in Accounting. He was previously a Group Finance Manager for a multi-million pound turnover company before opening the Worthing office. Greg brings fantastic and extensive knowledge and experience from his background to help business in his area increase the success of their business dramatically.
Misty is part qualified CIMA and qualified in AAT. Misty has over fifteen years experience in working in the accounts of a variety of small- to medium-sized businesses and her own successful business. She is able to give businesses in Greenock with a high value service with her wealth of knowledge.
Dave is a Chartered Accountant with an Honors degree in Economics. He was a Financial Director for a large construction company before he joined TLBK so he will be bringing his clients an exceptional level of passion, skill and knowledge to make sure they are as financially successful as they can possibly be.
Duncan is a Fellow of the Charted Association of Certified Accountants and was a Finance Director of an SME family run company with a turnover of £25 million where he was also responsible for all non-building functions within the Company, including Personnel, IT and Administration. Duncan’s vast experience enables him to have all the skills to give businesses in Canterbury the accurate and regular financial information they need to become even more successful.
The Local Bookkeeper Huddersfield – Owner: Frances Clarke
Frances has an ACCA diploma and has over twenty five years experience as a financial management professional. Most recently before launching the Huddersfield office, Frances worked as a management account at a leading large retail bank. Frances knows customer satisfaction is key to delivering a valuable service to business owners and will ensure that the TLBK service will exceed expectations to improve the finances of businesses in the Huddersfield area.
Lisa Ellis is a member of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and was a Finance Manager in her previous position where she was responsible for all day to day accounting including sales ledger/purchase ledger/cash/VAT plus all management accounts and Statutory accounts. Lisa’s strong background positions her perfectly to improve the success of business’s in the High Wycombe area.
William Sutherland is qualified by nearly 30 years experience working in the finances of small businesses. He was a financial controller before opening the Glasgow office and now provides businesses in the Glasgow area with high quality, professional services and the personal attention that they require.
Ivan Barnett is a fellow of the ACCA with a degree in Economics. Ivan has held a number of positions including financial controller, management accountant and treasurer. He has over twenty years experience in business finance and has opened this office to be able to give businesses all over Farnham the experienced and qualified financial help they require.
Catherine is an Associate member of Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (CIMA) and has an Accounting & Finance Degree from Cardiff University. She has substantial background in a number of industries, her most recent role to opening he office was financial modelling work for training provider allowing her to have a wealth of experience to apply to any business and improve their financial situation.
Richard is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and worked as a Financial Controller before opening the Maidstone office where he was responsible for all financial aspects for four group businesses with a turnover of £25m.
Peter is an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accounting and he has been working in financial roles for 23 years. Peter values customer satisfaction as the most important factor in business leading his clients receive the highest level of care to ensure he achieves this.
Chris is qualified by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He also has a substantial background in improving the financial management of businesses including in his most recent position before opening the Hull office where he was a Finance Director for Mail News & Media Ltd. In this position, Chris was given an immense amount of responsibility including being part of the local board of directors affecting the financial strategy of the business.
Raj has a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and is also a member of the ACCA. He worked as a Business Partner Manager before opening the Enfield office. Raj posses fine communication skills that with his finance acumen give him the skills to empower business owners with true financial transparency.
Damian has over twenty two years experience in finance and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with a degree on Economics. He was the Vice president of Finance in his last position looking after a service and manufacturing company turning over £105 million.
Chinyere has an MBA and a degree in Accounting as well as being an affiliate member of the ACCA. Chinyere has worked in the finance department of one of the worlds’ leading healthcare company and also had experience working in practice.
Barry has a degree in Finance and Accounting. Barry has worked in all positions within the finance departments up to financial controller and most recently worked for an outsourcing company. Barry has a passionate attidtude towards his work which translates into a high quality and caring service for businesses in Warrington.
Ian has over thirty five years experience in finance and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Ian has worked in a variety of roles on finances departments of businesses giving him experience and knowledge to know how to run an efficient and effective finance department in any type of business.
Michaela is a Chartered Accountant who is qualified at Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and with Institute of Chartered Accountants England. Her background includes working as an Accounting Contractor most recently before opening the Hammersmith office. In Michaela’s last contract, she was a Group Accountant for a large multinational company preparing financial accounts monthly and working on system improvements. Her contracting work has given her experience in many industries and on an international stage.
Beverley is a member of the ICB, is part qualified in CIMA and has a diploma in Accountancy. She worked as a Revenue & Balance Sheet Accountant in her most recent role prior to opening this office, enabling her to utilise her direct experience, specialising in the everyday finances of businesses. Beverley’s friendly attitude helps her become a trusted and effective financial cornerstone in local businesses.
Teresa is a member of the ICB and is part qualified in both CIMA and AAT . She worked as an Accountant for a construction company and had a strong background in construction before this role as well. Teresa has a great belief in the importance of customer satisfaction and partners this with excellent communication skills and passion to bring businesses a high quality service.
Kass is a member of the ICB, a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Kass has extensive experience in the hotel industry as well as good general experience across a range of business industries. Kass’s finance skills and manner make him a fantastic local financial management professional to help improve the success of SME’s in the Farnborough area.
The Financial Management Centre Watford – Office Owner: Imran Hussein
Imran is a student of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and in his last role was a Financial Controller that managed the client finance department of a business before opening the Watford office. Imran also has the essential desire required to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction meaning clients can be assured that they will be delivered with real value and achieve 100% satisfaction with our service. Imran has shown in qualifications, dedication and previous experience that he would excel in offering businesses in his area with a unique and professional service to help them achieve their financial goals.
The Financial Management Centre Mayfair – Office Owner: Harjinder Tack
Chartered Accountant, Harjinder Tack, runs the Mayfair office of TFMC. In his last position of Finance Director, he was responsible for running and managing the finance function of an international software company. Harjinder has over fifteen years experience in managing the finances of businesses, giving him the vast amount of experience as well as the written qualifications to be fully equipped to provide businesses with the expert advice they need to become financially successful. Harjinder has a track record of devising clear and innovative financial management solutions for small and medium sized businesses.

Carron has worked for a variety of industries giving her the diverse experience and skills to be able to transfer and apply her knowledge to any type of businesses and help steer them to their achieving their financial goals. Her last few positions have all been at the level of Finance Manager signalling that she was trusted with a high level of responsibility within the organisations and was a major influencer of the financial success of each organisation.
